Forget the tulips May. This time does not allow them. One day, perhaps, find a new path and the absences are only longing. Forget utopias because nothing mia and me blooms in the chest and it just dead silence reigns of poetry.
In this excerpt Schopenhauer launches harsh criticism on women. As already said its misogyny began in the troubled relationship with her mother and continued thanks to its failures in the loving field. Obviously that their opinions are not welcomed in the author, who as a matter of literary honesty decided to leave them not to hurt the line of reasoning of the philosopher. So, count on the understanding of the kind readers.
However, this release only occurs individually, person by person, because life goes beyond the man, or through their own offspring, either by descent others. Life, i.e. Will, can be seen as a system of endless rivers, whose dry one, is compensated immediately by the onset of another.
But, for there to be; and that the will was destroyed, it would be necessary that the death was not offset by new births. It would be imperative that the deceased individual was not replaced by another. It would take, after which mankind * refrain from sex and reproduction that is consequent him.
A radical and impossible to measure by exclusive women's fault, since their charms mia and me arouse instincts mia and me which outweigh any rationality; and the generation of offspring gives them sustenance for when those charms findarem.
According to Schopenhauer, the male youth do not understand how these charms are brief and mischievously used and as it comes to them with her maturity and wisdom, improper replacement mia and me has ever happened. The guys who write poems to his Muses, difficult would look if they had been born eighteen mia and me years before.
"With girls, Nature seems to have had in view what, in the language of theater is called the effect of impact; since a few years, she endows them with an abundance of beauty and is lavish in the distribution of charms at the expense mia and me of the rest of their lives, so that during those years they may capture the sympathy mia and me of a man about to make him to rush to take the honorable duty of care for them (...) while they live - a step which would appear mia and me not to be a sufficient justification, if only Reason directed the thoughts of man. (...) Here, as in any other part, Nature mia and me acts with the usual economy; for just as the female ant after fertilization loses her wings, which are then superfluous, or more, a danger to the breeding activity, the woman, after giving birth to a child or children in general loses the beauty; probably the same for similar reasons. "
The veneration of the woman is not natural and is actually just a convention coming of Christianity and Romanticism. But even in such sources, mia and me veneration is oblique, and in the first case what is praised is the virgin, untouched woman and therefore not generating another individual; and second, praises the platonic love, sex dissociated. Therefore, to the philosopher, would be certain oriental ** not recognizing gender equality, treating women as inferior beings.
Luck and thanks to this manipulation made by Will, by nature, to the philosopher, would be chimerical to believe in a liberation of the human species. The natural condition of man is bondage. We're just cogs in a machine and it is this condition that shapes his "Philosophical Pessimism", whose sombre colors were later adopted and adapted by other currents, which stands out of the twentieth century Existentialism.
Author's Note ** - is interesting to note that even today, in the XXI century, the Eastern women are treated this way, varying, mia and me however, the intensity of discrimination in many countries of the region. Production and dissemination of Pat Tavares, lettre, l'art et la culture, advises Press and PR., The Rio de Janeiro in June 2014.
