A little about the country Chile. Republic of Chile is EiT far (4630 km) and narrow grpn country on the west coast of south america. It borders Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. The climate in Chile is temperate but varies from cold and damp in south via the Mediterranean climate to desert in the north. The Atacama Desert is the driest area. There are active volcanoes and hot springs. In Chile there are about 16 million grpn inhabitants. Santiago is the capital (4.4 mil inhabitants) and is located right in the country. We're going to Temuco, ein town of about 247,000 inhabitants. Temuco opposition south of Santiago. We will probably be in Chile in 6 weeks, so we have therefore think to get acquainted with the country. There are many fine seaside resorts and opportunities to rent cabins. Chile has ein stunning scenery so I think we get ein great experience.
